I made my 7 year old son a Curious George Blanket. We love Curious George in our house! We have the movie, books and stuffed animals. Our 3 year old Samantha gives him a hug and kiss and calls him "Monkey George." I made Emily and Martin, now 14 and 12, each one when they were babies, and Matthew has been sleeping with theirs. They've been very nice to share, but really would like them back before he wears theirs out. I finished it last night before going to bed while he was sleeping and left it on the sofa for him to find when he awoke this morning. He was so very happy as you can imagine. He had picked out the fabric and has been anxiously waiting for me to get to it this past week. The fabric on the other side is a bed sheet I picked up from Goodwill, a lot less expensive than yardage. I love the ombre effect.

I purchased this fabric on sale last year after the holiday had passed.
It's an odd textile that is 100% cotton and feels like a brushed flannel,
except...
Cute!!!!
