Baby Samantha Has Made Her Entrance into the World

I barely made it to the hospital. She was born at 6:36 p.m. central time, approximately an hour after I left my home. She was born at 36 1/2 weeks, 7 pounds and 12 ounces and 19 3/4 inches in length.

Random: How do you look so beautiful? After my babies were born, I looked like someone had beaten me.

  44. I've been following your blog since the beginning of your pregnancy. I am a 43 year old homeschooling mom of 7. My daughter was born the ay after Samantha. I just wanted you to know that I am praying for you, baby and family. I know you are feeling overwhelmed but God knows what you can handle and he will help you navigate the future.

Try to take one day at a time. ( today has enough worries with out worrying about tomorrow). Give yourself time to adjust- let people help and most of all let the kids help. My husband lost 50 percent of his pay soon after I came home from the hospital. Needless to say my baby blues came on strong and long! I am just now being able to cope with what the future will bring. Sooooo take it easy, cry when you need no ( crying releases endorphins and that will make you feel better). Lean on your friends and family. My husband would just hold me and let me cry when I felt like it. My best friends cooked dinner for our family and prayed non stop for me and my family.

Sorry, this is so long. Your blog really touched me and I just wanted you to know that you have a friend in New Jersey who will pray for your precious baby girl. Congratulations!

    Blessings,
    Adrienne
