I barely made it to the hospital. She was born at 6:36 p.m. central time, approximately an hour after I left my home. She was born at 36 1/2 weeks, 7 pounds and 12 ounces and 19 3/4 inches in length.
Good heavens! That was quick. Glad Little Samantha is here for you and your family to love and spoil. Hope you are feeling okay other than being tired.
Random: How do you look so beautiful? After my babies were born, I looked like someone had beaten me.
Welcome baby Samantha!!!!! Congratulations to all of you. I am glad that things went well for you and baby too. Now....get some rest while you are in the hospital.
Congratulations, Trudy (and I know on a very hot day in Texas!) I'm a new commenter but I was inspired by your pregnancy blogs - and such a beautiful family.
Oh..you are looking as beautiful as ever and you've.just.given birth!...lol...congratulations on the birth...hope the next few weeks go so.derfully for you...enjoy this time...lots of love from me to you...xxx
Hi, Been following you for a while, have looked in each day for new posts, so excited for you on the birth of Samantha, you both look over the moon. Well Done Lots of Love
Congratulations to all of you Callans!!! Welcome Samantha!!! Lots of good wishes from Sylt (somewhere off the coast of Denmark) where we are vacationing at the moment. - A & L .
Congratulations!! I just found your blog today. Wished I had found it sooner. I will be 47 later this month and am about 14 weeks pregnant. We have 9 children so this is #10. I am happy, but others attitudes and comments sure can be a challenge. Thanks for the encouragement found in your blog. Enjoy your newest blessing!!
I've been following your blog since the beginning of your pregnancy. I am a 43 year old homeschooling mom of 7. My daughter was born the ay after Samantha. I just wanted you to know that I am praying for you, baby and family. I know you are feeling overwhelmed but God knows what you can handle and he will help you navigate the future.
Try to take one day at a time. ( today has enough worries with out worrying about tomorrow). Give yourself time to adjust- let people help and most of all let the kids help. My husband lost 50 percent of his pay soon after I came home from the hospital. Needless to say my baby blues came on strong and long! I am just now being able to cope with what the future will bring. Sooooo take it easy, cry when you need no ( crying releases endorphins and that will make you feel better). Lean on your friends and family. My husband would just hold me and let me cry when I felt like it. My best friends cooked dinner for our family and prayed non stop for me and my family.
Sorry, this is so long. Your blog really touched me and I just wanted you to know that you have a friend in New Jersey who will pray for your precious baby girl. Congratulations!

ReplyDeleteI've been following your blog since the beginning of your pregnancy. I am a 43 year old homeschooling mom of 7. My daughter was born the ay after Samantha. I just wanted you to know that I am praying for you, baby and family. I know you are feeling overwhelmed but God knows what you can handle and he will help you navigate the future.
