Protecting Your Cutting Board

I used Scotch-Blue Painters Tape around the edges of my cardboard cutting board to protect it from getting bent up and worn. Just took a couple of minutes and will add years to the board's life.

  1. Handy! I have a rubbery one, and it's getting chewed up. I guess we've been pressing too hard...

  4. That is a great idea....especially since mine has become a "permanent" fixture at the kitchen table..LOL... And bcause it's the one my mom used when I was little. To be perfectly honest it IS still hers(she thinks) so I def need to take care of it:)
    Happy Weekend!

  5. I've had my cutting board for years---and it has always had the blue tape on it. Funny, I don't remember putting the tape on. Seriously, I've had the same cutting board for about 20 years. :)
