Our daughter Kimberly is decorating her just-turned-2 year old son's room in a Dr. Seuss theme. She asked me if I would make the bedding as part of his birthday gift. She sent me a picture of herself on her knees begging with her cute little pouty lip; so of course if said yes! The Fabric came from Fabric.com. I used one of our thin blankets for the inside and the backside is from a soft, flannel sheet that I had in the linen closet. The result: cute, comfortable and economical.
PARTING SHOTS FROM JACKSON'S DR. SEUSS BIRTHDAY PARTY:
I can see your daughter inherited your creative genes. You did a great job on the bedding.

ReplyDeleteAll so adorable.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun party! My oldest and I have been making pillowcases together of late. I'm amazed at how much personality they can add to a bed! The Dr Seuss fabric is no exception--how fun for your grandson to be able to sleep next to such wonderful illustrations.
ReplyDeleteTrudy, I just need to drive over there. I miss you and the girls so much! I have started back blogging. Your posts are beautiful and your photography is amazing! I'm going to call tomorrow. Love you friend!
