11 countries. 41 groups. 317 dancers. We came together to perform an international hoop dance on World Hoop Day, 11/11/11; and my children, Emily 11 and Martin 8, were chosen to represent Texas. See if you can spot them 1minute and 43 and 44 seconds into this video.
I am the wife to an amazing man who is a heart attack survivor, homeschooling mama of six (25, 21, 13, 11, 6 and 2, with the youngest having down syndrome) and grandmother of one, striving to raise my children to love the Lord. I had my last baby at 46. In my blog I share my life as well as my sewing projects. I enjoy sewing modern, vintage and refashioned clothing. I love people and appreciate the relationships I have built through blogging. I have received support during times of crisis from some of the dear blogging friends I have made. I would love to get to know you; so leave your comments. A few more things about me: I do not like to cook; although I do cook healthy meals for family out of my love and dedication for them. For exercise I love to hula hoop and do Yoga and Zumba. I am a Premier Designs Jewelry lady which allows me to continue staying home with my children while contributing to the family finances. I hope you enjoy your visit and learn something or leave inspired. Thank you for stopping by. May God richly bless you.
