Incredible Christmas Tree Skirts and How You Can Make One, Too!

My daughter Emily has made some incredible Christmas tree skirts, complete with a tutorial on how you can make one, too, which was quite a feat considering little brother wanted to help. Our little dog asleep on the sofa is quite unimpressed by the whole thing. She made one for the family tree and one for her own little tree. Click on the picture of her little tree, and you'll see some very creative and unique decorations that she made, not your typical Christmas ornaments. All done in "Emily Style." I didn't post the pictures of the skirts here. The pictures of them underneath the tree are on her blog. This is her first real sewing machine project. She's done a couple of little things on the machine before this, without a pattern, a little self-designed purse and some bean bags. Today she will be finishing up her second big project on the machine. She is making herself a Christmas skirt to wear on Christmas day.

I hope you will take the time to go by her blog and see her Christmas tree skirts and look around at the rest of her blog. And then check back in a couple of days to see her modeling her new little Christmas outfit that she sewed. She would love to hear from you if you can take the time to leave a little comment. If you like her little blog, maybe you can sign up as a follower and put her on your blog roll so you can easily find her again and come back and visit. Thanks for looking, and hope you have a very Merry Christmas.

  1. It is wonderful you have taught her how to sew and she looks like she has natural talent and passion.
