My daughter Emily of Fashionista Emily and her sewing student made Matching Tartan Skirts. Aren't they cute?

My 15 year old daughter Emily of Fashionista Emily made this beautiful skirt. I originally got this fabric for myself, but I let her talk me out of it. Glad I did.

I hope you had a wonderful Easter! Organic Cotton Plus offered me 2 yards of fabric of my choice in exchange for me sharing on my blog what I made with it. I chose the Jewels woven print. It's very soft, and has nice drape. My 14 year old daughter Emily of Fashionista Emily loved the fabric so much that she really wanted to make a circle skirt; so I reluctantly let her have it. She made the pattern herself. I'm glad I did. She looks fabulous! There's enough fabric left over for me to make my 3 year old daughter Samantha a pretty little dress, which I will post about when it is done.
