Date Night Blouse

For date night I wore this blouse I made using a 1983 vintage pattern, 8802 Stitch 'N Save by McCall's. Comfy, classic style. Jeans and Roper Boots were thrifted.

McCall's 5640

I made View B of McCall's 5640 in sleeveless, above the knee, for my aunt as an early Christmas gift, to wear as a lounge dress around the house. She calls it her moo moo. I think it's more stylish than a typical moo moo. She prefers for me to make them because the ones available in the stores are usually made of polyester, which she hates; and they aren't her style. After these pictures were taken, I added a pocket for her cell phone. I did some topstitching and used packaged bias tape for under the arm instead of making my own. Adds a little pop of color. She loves it. I will be making her more when I get a chance.

What's On My Sewing Table

Lounge wear for my aunt for wearing around the house from McCalls 5640. I am making version B, a dress. I made her three of these several years ago, but she has worn them out and needs more. I am planning on this being a Christmas present for her. It's a surprise, so Shhhhh.

PARTING SHOT:
In Fort Worth this past July with some good friends of mine. Here we are at the water gardens. We did a lot of walking about around and of course eating. We also went to the Cowgirl Museum Hall of Fame. Very fascinating. It was a fun few days.
